Chevrolet Talk

Trailing along on the heels of the last post in this Chevrolet Salt lake City blog of automobile mania, which I entitled "Buy a Chevrolet Auto," which looked at some solid reasons why you'd go ahead and buy a Chevy automobile, I'll now take a look at some of the nice things about Chevrolet in general - well, things that I like, anyway. And after all, its my blog!

Well, whether you live in the city, town, small town or out of town, or anywhere else for that matter in the United States or Europe (where, believe it or not, Chevrolet have a huge presence in the automobile industry), there are some really nice models to test drive and then choose your favorite from.

So what's my personal favorite?

Well, thats a tougher question that you think, because there are several models that jump out at me and grab me by the throat and scream "DRIVE ME"!!!

At first blush, I like a utility vehicle that not only can I drive around town and feel confident to take a girl on a date in, but that I can use for hauling my stuff around which includes musical sound equipment on the one hand, and my gardening tools and equipment during the day. That's a kind of vehicle that needs to be tough, have plenty of load space and be capable of going out of town onto some rough terrain where some of my clients happen to live. So it has to be a Chevy 4x4 truck and I have my eye on the new Avalanche right now.

Of couse, alternatively, I think along the same lines as many aficionados of the "muscle car" ethos in that the Camaro sort of stands out from the crown as a pure blood and guts car that just has to be driven hard! Back in the day (and I'm talking late 1970s here) when I was driving around in a beat up old Ford (well, most of us did at some time in our lives!) a friend of mine who must have been earning far too much money pulled up in a gorgeous red Camaro one day - and from that moment on I wanted one.

I never figured out how I was gonna get one, as there was always the slight problem of how to pay for it! But that's a story for another day, I think...
